The Ball System: Where Every Play Counts

Example Ball Scoring System (Fantasy Football):

Player Scoring (Ball System)

Goals:

Forwards: 5 points for each goal scored
Midfielders: 4 points for each goal scored
Defenders: 3 points for each goal scored
Goalkeeper: 6 points for each goal scored

Assists:

All Players: 3 points for each assist

Clean Sheets:

Defenders: 4 points for a clean sheet (no goals conceded)
Goalkeepers: 6 points for a clean sheet

Saves:

Goalkeeper: 1 point for each save made

Minutes Played:

All Players: 1 point for every 10 minutes played (up to 90 minutes)
Players who play over 90 minutes do not get extra points.

Yellow Card:

All Players: -1 point for a yellow card

Red Card:

All Players: -3 points for a red card

Own Goal:

All Players: -2 points for an own goal

Penalty Missed:

All Players: -2 points for a missed penalty

Penalty Saved:

Goalkeeper: 5 points for saving a penalty

Shots on Target:

All Players: 1 point for each shot on target

Crosses (for Midfielders/Forwards):

1 point for every 3 crosses

Tackles Won:

Defenders/Midfielders: 1 point for every 3 tackles won

Clearances:

Defenders: 1 point for every 2 clearances

Successful Dribbles:

All Players: 1 point for every 3 successful dribbles
